It’s that time of year again when the South Easter starts to make it’s regular appearance around the Peninsula. And for wind-junkies, that only means one thing: time to play hard!

This coming Wednesday, 12th October sees the start of the Milnerton-BigBay downwind dash for 2011: 18h00. Wind looks promising so there should be a decent run on it.

The Discovery Sunglass Hut Surfski Series in Cape Town has already kicked off with some local runs and the first grading race is set for the weekend of the 15th/16th in Simon’s Town.
